They may be plastic, but they are much safer than surgical steel
They may be plastic, but they are much safer than a steel surgical hemostat. Slightly wider at the bite end and more forgiving than steel, they are less likely to damage your catheter.—and safer around the house from tiny hands. They work very well. They may be plastic and will eventually break with extended use, but you can simply replace them—or consider buying two to have a spare on hand. A very low price to pay for peace of mind, which is priceless.

Good For My Condition
I've been using this thing religiously on my feeding tube (G Tube). It's been holding up well and I use it numerous times a day. You know, I wish I didn't have to but here I am. If you need something for IV lines and feeding tubes to help clamp them - this is it. It's cheap and holds on to things super tight. It's light weight and small enough. The clamp is holding up with no damage to the plastic and I've been rough with it a few days because some days I just don't want to do this. Get one for now or get one for the future. Put it away in the medicine cabinet or utility drawer. You'll be glad you did even if you don't need it now. The price is very fitting. I'd suggest to get two. One being a backup.
