A small storage device which got for storing large dvds (previously recorded in vro format) converted to mp4. Speady transfers, especially with good software package.Playback quality really good (visual and sound). The compact size means fits in palm of small hands. Have found no issues with device usage, recognised on Win laptops, connection to Apple phone and televisions, all powered by source device

Excellent product. Small and compact, even came with a converter from usb c to usb port which supports both my laptops.I purchased the specified case to store. This was an excellent addition to protect my drive and store the cable, with room for other similar items.

Absolutely brilliant... does the job that I need it to do, had a similar one with a smaller capacity and because of it's great performance bought this one... I'm sure it will be as reliable as the last which I still use and have had it for many years.

This is a great portable hard drive. It is light, compact and has plenty of storage capacity for what I need. It connected straight away through USB and has stayed stable every time I have plugged it in. Transfer speeds are solid for everyday use and it handles photos, videos and larger files without any issues. It feels like good build quality for something so small and the casing seems sturdy enough for regular travel.Compatibility has also been good. It worked with my laptop straight out of the box with no extra setup and has been completely reliable so far. Exactly what I needed for simple, portable storage.

I don;t know how I would have got on with my movie making, without this!

These SanDisk Extreme Portable SSDs are well designed and look great as well as being small and extremely functional. I have found no flaws in my using of them. However, as with all drives, you don’t get the stated 2 TB, 1 TB as stated, but slightly less. This could be considered a scam, but is due to the way manufacturers of drives and operating systems measure storage. Manufacturers use a decimal (base-10) system to market storage (1 TB = 1,000,000,000,000 bytes), but computers use a binary (base-2) system to calculate it (1 TB = 1,099,511,627,776 bytes).A terabyte is actually 1,000,000,000,000 bytes, but the operating system reads in 1024KB blocks so you end up with it reporting only 931GB and you "lose" 69GB in the conversion. Thus with a 2TB drive it only offers 1862GB, or 1.8TB rounded. There of one may not get quite what you thought you might onto your SSD drives.That said, these little SanDisk drives are great, if but a little expensive. My only criticism would be for a label area to mark them up and easily identify the drive without having to plug them in. Of course one can simple place a sticker on them and mark it accordingly, but it does spoil the aesthetics a little.
