No, you can use Foscam App on your smartphone or Foscam VMS on your PC to access and configure your camera. What are the mounting options? Can I mount this onto a wall?

It has a mount with screws. Any tripod mount will work as it has 1/4" 20 screw mount on bottom. Its best to mount it inverted on the ceiling or close to the ceiling as you will get much better viewing of the room.

Does this camera offer p2p uid connection?

Yes, the Foscam R2 does indeed offer P2P UID connectivity
