The kettle looks and feels high end, so easy to use and absolutely love the steel with the midnight blue. Really glad I chose this combo as I was looking for a coloured kettle before purchasing this one. And it's very quiet compared to our old kettle. Deffo recommend it x

Genuine purchase. Arrived today ordered yesterday. Its like a piece of art. The finish is amazing. It really stands out in my kitchen and looks a million dollars. On the practical side it does exactly what it says on the box and despite all its beauty the fact remains that its function is to boil water. It does so quickly and quietly. Press a button on the handle and the chrome lid opens to allow easy filling. Has a filter included at the spout. Pours smoothly and the whole thing is well balanced in the hand. Not cheap I grant you but nowhere near as expensive as some I looked at and none of them were as pretty. Love it.

I picked this kettle up after my old Russell Hobbs finally gave out. My first instinct was to just buy the same model again because it had served me well for years, but after going back and forth a bit, I decided to try this one instead. So far, I don’t regret the switch. The design feels compact and genuinely premium, and it looks great sitting on the counter. The only thing I’m slightly unsure about is the on/off switch; it doesn’t feel as sturdy as the one on my previous kettle. I’m hoping it holds up over time, but only daily use will tell. Performance-wise, it’s noticeably quieter than my old kettle, which I really appreciate. The only trade-off is that it has a bit less water volume overall; that’s something to keep in mind. It’s only been about three to four days of using it, so I’m still in the early stages of testing it out. I’ll keep an eye on how it performs over the next few weeks and update my thoughts once I’ve had more time with it.

I bought this as the reviews were good. Nicely balanced when lifted. Handle of sensible dimensions. I have picked up some in shops where the handle in cross-section was rather large and this kettle's handle is good. The handle does not project too far from the body so it balances nicely and pours neatly. It boils a 2 cup amount fast. I have not noticed it to be greatly quieter but it is not noisy. I like the general appearance but it is the sort of navy blue that looks black. Why anything needs to have added colour I do not understand. Plain brushed steel would be fine. The kettle is not overly large. The fill to 1.7 litres comes to a sensible place in the kettle, where in some of the supposedly retro kettles there seems a lot of excess space above the maximum fill. The oddest thing is the kettle seems to wobble on the base. Not a lot but it is not something I have encountered before. Not enough to be dangerous in any way just not tight. I have followed the instructions to fill to maximum and boil and repeat before first use. I have not actually sampled a drink from it so will report back. Day 2. I have now used the kettle 3 times. I cannot now smell new kettle or plastic inside. I have removed the red cup depth from inside. Easily pulled off. My mugs are near twice the size and the measure scale seen on the outside both sides is clear to read.

Very smart looking stylish kettle. Easy viewing window on either side and smooth push button lid release. Fast and quiet boiling.

Absolutely Love This New Shaped Kettle Very Quick & Extremely Quiet Boiling Time Would Look Fabulous In Any Kitchen.

I love the kettle very quiet fast boil looks great too . However. After only 1 month the switch has completely broken off and obviously the kettle won't work . I have tried to contact Russell Hobbs on the website but it won't carry through for some reason and won't submit the generic form . Very very disappointed.

Very fine kettle which is quieter than the Russell Hobbs kettle it replaced. I love the colour and its speed. Lid opens well very important for me and it boils as little or as much as you need

Bought in April broke in Dec

This is the best kettle I've ever owned: (1) I used to wait ages for the kettle to boil - this kettle is SO quick that now I hardly have time to put the bag in the cup and get the milk before the water is boiling, and (2) I used to have to move into the other room if I was on the phone while the kettle was on - this kettle is SO quiet that I can have a conversation right beside it while it's boiling. Those people who complained about the switch must have been pressing down on it really hard - there's nothing wrong with it as far as I'm concerned. 10 stars!

Very nice and not noisy to get boiling water.

Only lasted about a year when the on switch just fell off and rendered it useless. Good looking device, very quiet and fast. But lasting a around a year isn't good enough.

Looks great! And so quiet compared to my previous electric kettle. It's quick as well. Pricier than regular kettles but worth it.
