Two years earlier i had used earlier version of Amkette FM radio and recepitions used to be erratic and unsatisfactory. The present latest version which I now received is far far better and supirior in quality especially in signal recepition. A worthy product for the price.

Very Fast Battery drain Average Product

I believe that some products are incorrectly named, and their given names do not reflect their actual gains/functionality. So is the case with this product. All the smartphones are equipped with very good sound output capabilities for small scale listening. If someone is interested in personal hearing without disturbing others, she may go for wired or Bluetooth earbuds. Had I been a music enthusiast I would have given sound input to large volume Bluetooth music boxes. Why would at all I be interested in connecting Bluetooth to a miniature device with low volume? Therefore, naming it Bluetooth speaker doesn’t justify its primary function rather playing content through Bluetooth is merely an additional feature of it. To sum it up, it’s a portable media player with multiple connectivity options, including Bluetooth. So far, it appears to me a handy music player with following pros: (1) No connectivity option is left. You may connect through USB, TF card, Aux, and Bluetooth for voice input. (2) Finish is good and is compact in size. (3) It offers a keypad with numeral buttons so that you can key in a specific track from your playlist. Additionally, it mounts an LCD display on front which shows the track selection along with other options (e.g., mode TF/USB/FM/BT, battery, FM frequency, etc.). A few speakers give you track selection, but display is absent in most of them. (4) Battery is chargeable and easily detachable. That means you may replace it once its is out of order. (5) I don’t listen to FM often, so I am not assessing its efficacy in tuning etc. capabilities, but be happy, an antenna is there to get it right. (6) Sound is crisp, loud, and clear. Sound output matches with its size. I am not sure about its cons as I am writing a review immediately after its acquisition. I am a bit concerned about the battery life. Particularly, I have received a battery cell with no protective tape non one side. So far, it’s going on. Let’s see for a week or two. All in all, a versatile portable speaker on an ‘OK’ price. Edit 1: (Review post one week of purchase) Battery is working fine. Backup is well ahead of 8 hours.

Everything is good just few cons below No AM only FM, ibell has both battery as well as rechargable inbuilt and this one has only a battery which is fine. Signal reception isn't great for all fm but for few its very good. Depends on location. For me in bangalore ibell was better but this is better in chennai. The built is solid and features are very good and handy.
