It was great, until it wasn’t
The step counter worked well for the first few weeks. At some point, I started experiencing issues with the counter resetting on its own, pretty much rendering it useless. Just simply gripping the counter to take it off my waistband causes the steps to reset. The reset button on the back is never pushed when this occurs. It was extremely frustrating to go for a long walk, eager to see how many steps I got. Then the second I gripped the counter to look, it reset before I even had a chance to see the steps. I don’t know why this started happening after working well the first few weeks, but it defeats the purpose of even trying to use it anymore, never knowing when it will reset. Don’t waste your money on this item; it’s not worth it.

Disappointed, failing now.
Update: Well I was happy. Now it is intermittently not working and if I remove it for a clothing change it resets and turns off instead of letting me continue to monitor my progress for the day. This just started happening yesterday. I thought I did something wrong but then it happened again this morning. I am returning it. Disappointed. Initial Review: Well, I tried it out at home to see if it is accurate. And, I've discovered it pretty much matches my step count when I do the count myself too. If it's off, it's just a couple of steps here and there. That's no big deal. I'm concerned about replacing the battery when it's time. The screw holding in the battery cover down is quite small and I fear that I might strip the head. The unit is basic. Once it moves it automatically powers on and once it stops moving it powers down after a couple of minutes. So far I'm happy with it.

Too inaccurate, sending back!
This is the worst pedometer I've ever bought it is extremely lagging and inaccurate no matter the placement by 10 plus steps. I tested upon opening it up by walking to the mailbox and back i several times. Im sending it back I've had cheaper ones that worked better

Accurate, quality pedometer
Consistently and accurately counts my steps. The clip fits securely on my shorts. I am very happy with this product.

Good product, but to tracking memory
Easy to use, but does not provide tracking memory.

Great till it wasn't
Really enjoyed it. Simple, yet worked. Maybe not the most accurate, but i'm just trying to get over 10,000 steps in a day and what a general way of keeping track. But then it broke with what seemed like a pretty small drop. Maybe I battery replacement would fix it, but it's cheap enough to just buy a new one instead of trying to fix this one. I did do some basic fixing on it, pulled out battery, etc., but now it's just stuck on "P-01"

Lasted a little over a month
Purchased August 3. By September 19 it’s no longer working. Did 1500 steps one morning , then suddenly it reset to 0. Later that day reset to 0 again. Also, it does not track on an elliptical so I had to hold it in my hand and swing it, even though my foot was literally going up and down. It also did not track steps while on a stair stepper at the gym where I'm literally continuously stepping one foot after another. But, the item completely stopped working so that was that.
