The cushion works quite well. It holds most of its thickness and forms well to the body. It is the most comfortable one I have used for kayaking, even when pedaling for a full day of 6 to 8 hours. It fits well in the kayak seat and the strap keeps it in place.

I’m currently recovering from a broken L1 in my back, and I also broke my sternum. The little cut out in the back of the cushion is perfect to help relieve the weight-bearing in the pressure from being on my back. I can literally sit on this cushion for hours at a time without any discomfort! I did a lot of research regarding wheelchair cushions because I didn’t know anything about them and there are so many different ones to choose from. With that being said, I’m beyond happiness that I chose to purchase this one. If you purchase a different one you have no idea what you’re cheating yourself out of!
