This cup and saucer set was purchased for a Christmas party, but after I opened it, I decided to keep it! They are beautiful and well made. Made of new bone china porcelain and it says they are dishwasher and microwave safe, which is a plus. I love the little spoons that come with them! The cups are small, (about 6 oz) but are great for a cup of tea, which I enjoy every evening. The packaging was amazing! They were packaged so well I almost didn't take them out! Overall, happy with these.

Instead the box was very old. The glued-on paper fell halfway off the corners were cracked and the top was losing its sides. I have taped it all together, but the result is disappointing, not nice for giving. The teacups are lovely though.

They were just what ordered.

These are a lovely couple of cups and saucers. There are well made with smooth rims with no lumps or sharp bits. The colourway is lovely, a sort of blue/brown speckled look with a dark rim and dark inside the cup. The cups sit well on the saucers and do not rock. They cam really well packaged in a box that would be good for gifting. The listing suggests they are good for latte, mocha and tea. They really are an espresso size, but would be good for specialty teas.

This bone china set has a pretty floral design. The shape of the cup is lovely being slightly fluted with a foot. The capacity is good, the cup rim fairly thin and they are very pleasant to drink from. The handle is a really good size and fingers can easily slide in and out, even large fingers. A slight irritation is the saucer which does not hold the cup in place. The dip is too shallow and too wide for the foot and the cup does slide around as if it is on a plate. I'm not keen on the ceramic spoons either. They feel very alien to me and I much prefer a metal teaspoon. That being said, the ceramic spoons are ok for stirring the milk in and they do complete the set which is ideal for gifting. Even the box is very pretty and the cups are very well padded with shaped plastic foam that keeps them from moving and protects everything from the sides of the box. My husband and I really enjoy drinking our tea from these cups. Unlike cups with gold rims or pattern, these cups and saucers can go into the dishwasher and even the microwave. The only gold is a stripe along the length of the spoons. A pretty gift set and definitely recommended.
