Brilliant little device to slow down the fans, especially noiseyish fans that vibrate. 10/10

At the first connection, having worked somewhere maybe 5 minutes, the very unpleasant smell of the burnt plastic became audible. I do not recommend for purchase, this appliance is life threatening. It could easily catch fire when used long !!!

As other reviews have said, its not very good at all. Plugged an oscillating desktop fan in, the slightest dial down in speed, an audible buzzing starts that gets louder the more you turn it down, until it turns off. The buzzing is louder than the fan. It does technically work as in reducing speed but not worth the extra sound

Not bad for a cheap controller, just difficult to set

Looked nice, felt like a quality product but it was difficult to plug the 13 amp plug into it and I noticed no change is the fan speed when changing the setting to low.
