what i want to know is does it truley hold 20 ounces? The ozark trail claims 20 ounces but only holds 16(18 ounces if filled to rim)

Here's the deal - it may not hold 20 oz, but it keeps your coffee hotter longer than any of the others so you can enjoy it! The 30 oz is too Heavy. The Shorter 14 oz doesn't keep your coffee hot. So, the 20 oz is the best of both worlds! Hot coffee & 16 oz that isn't a strain to carry~! Fill it again when you're done!!

Can you shake a drink with a closed lid, without spilling

I received the 20 oz tumbler with magslider lid for Christmas. It is NOT leak proof. If it turns over or is tilted in your purse or bag, it will and does leak! I just called YETI (01/02/2018) in Austin, Texas and asked about this and they confirmed it is not leak proof. If you need something leak proof, they said to get a YETI with the scree on lid! The magslider is not a good product if you need something that does not leak.

Is there any way to check authenticity, prior to ordering these?
