My kitty has some severe gut issues including a strong allergy to fish. It's surprisingly difficult to find a wet food variety pack that doesn't include some type of seafood. This is literally the only variety pack I've found where he can have all of the flavors AND none of the ingredients trigger his health problems. I've been feeding it to him for years at this point and it makes him happy. The smell isn't overpowering - in fact sometimes when I'm hungry it smells pretty damn tempting! It's certainly on the expensive side but as every devoted cat parent knows, giving your fur baby the best quality for their needs that you can afford is worth it.

Year's ago I bought Merrick dog food for my little silky terrier & he absolutely loved it. Now I've bought the Merrick pate food for our cat's and they gobbled it up! Made with really good ingredients they love the taste. However I am thankful to have purchased it during Prime Days at $19.73 because now it's $49!!! For 12 cans!! I'm stunned. Glad we bought 2 packs at the lower price.

My 4 cats sure do love this food. I give 4 stars because the Turkey cans are always watery and not very full. I think the quality control is off on the Turkey cans. The duck and chicken is always a solid chunk of meat. I quit buying this variety pack because the Turkey is not up to par.
