What does it mean removable seat cushion?

All fjalraven backpacks have it. It’s removable foam square. Compare to other models which does not have any cushion if you take out the seat cushion, this one has extra for laptop.

Does the Nalgene bottle or Hydroflask fit on the side pocket? Can someone share a pic of their bottle in the backpack?

I returned mine, but my friend has the same and the bottle fits in as long as the bag in not fully packed. The bottle pocket does not stretch out, rather inner ( bag’s) side bents in and uses the bag’s space
