Top notch filter
Does a great job of filtering the shower water in Dubai, hair feels much softer after a few weeks of use

Seems to be effective not tested the water in the lab
This is the 3rd or 4th time we have purchased this filter in the last 3 years, some had to be returned since we were not able to twist open the tightly closed outside steel cover to remove the internal packing before the first use.Anyway, although we haven't tested the water samples before and affter inatalling this filter but since in all the previous cases after 5-7 months of use, the water flow in the shower got significantly reduced indicating that the heavy metals and chlorine had blocked the filter so I assume it must have been doing its job. Hence, I purchased it again

Not as expected, poor quality
Having used Philips shower filter before, was expecting the 2nd purchase to be of same quality. But unfortunately, it didn't meet the expectations and seeing the hair fall worsening. The black Philips shower filter from Amazon USA is very disappointing. Would have returned if I could, but not possible due to the return window being closed. Not too happy with the product.
