My last purchase says in Germany on back.** A: Yes, it is made in Germany. Been using it for probably 20 years. **Q: How long until it expires?** A: There should be an expiration date on the back. Usually 12 months from the time you open it. I can't see where this would go bad if its unopned. **Q: Is this considered oil-free?** A: Yes Glysolid is oil free **Q: can glysolid be used on face daily for atopic dermititis,will it remove dry scaly skin** A: Glysolid is a very heavy cream, the type you would use on the soles of your feet and then have to put socks over them. I can't imagine you'd ever want to put it on your face. I have dermatitis on my hands so am familiar with the condition. I have used this for years on my dry cracked feet and it helps keep them healthy and soft. I typically apply it after showering and then put socks on. It absorbs nicely once you rub it in well. If you don’t rub it in completely, it will be a little bit on the greasy side, so be sure to apply and rub it in until it is completely absorbed. I find it best to use In the winter time when I’m wearing socks.
