Regardless, I'm happy with it and will keep that second blanket on top just as a way to increase the cover longevity and decrease the need to remove and clean. I will update this review if needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price - disappointed by the seat cover part *by L***N on December 14, 2018* Love the color and it was easy to put on even on my overstuffed couch (got the xl) in blackish green (ie Teal). My cats had holes in the back of my sofa and my dog dug a hole in one of the seat cushions. The fabric is a bit thinner than I expected so not sure how it is going to hold up, but for the price, even if I have to get another in a few months, it's worth it. The seat cover though is disappointing to me. I had thought it would open at the back so both sides of the cushions would be covered so I could flip it now and then to hopefully keep my dog from digging in the same spot putting a hole in it quickly. It actually just covers the top of the cushions and barely that...you can see the elastic in the front even. For an XL size cover, you would think the seat would be oversized too but it's not :( All in all, it definitely helps protects my sofa from my furbabies and makes it look great - just wish the seat cover covered more and the fabric was a bit heavier. I'll have to see how it holds up. Update: It unfortunately does NOT hold up well to cat and dog claws.
