How many decks are needed for 6 players?

Have only played with up to 4 players which is 2 decks. Just read the other 2 answers where 1 person said 2 decks and 1 person said 3 decks.

The fan design on the back is red with a white background. I have bought numerous sets of these for myself and for gifts and have been very pleased. Love that the pointsare printed on the front. Makes it easy to teach someone the game as they don't have to remember the values
