I even removed serums and oil from my face. The ingredients need to be modified to last on the face because it remained on my hand fine. I had to mix colors: chocolate, taupe, and auburn to get the right color match. You shouldn't have to do all these steps for a product. Save your money It DOES look microbladed. But every time i used it, there was little splatter/dots/clumps. no matter what application technique I used. The product wipes off with one swipe of the finger, so don't touch your face while wearing it. Im going to work with it and see if it stays with setting spray. Will update later. The colors are completely off. I ordered taupe, a color that is supposed to blend into a gray brown. I was worried about it being “dried it” since quite a few reviews said this. You have to first: Unlock your tube, then second: push down on the “button” on top of the applicator while turning the brush so that it “loads” color. It took a few twists initially. I have small over plucked 80s brows with some grey and white. And, dark brown hair with about 25-30% grey in my hair. It took me all of about 10 seconds to apply. (I feel confident I will develop better skill and outcome with a little practice). Nonetheless, it COMPLETELY colored my grey and white brow hairs and certainly looks more full. I am completely sold. It was sooooooooo easy! I am no brow expert by any measure. But, it seriously takes me at least 15-20 minutes to do my brows. This could not have taken more than 60 seconds from the time I opened the package until finish of my brows.
