I think Amazon readers will find my review of value as I have subjected this fine product to the ultimate test - which it has passed 100%. I am currently replacing awnings and boat covers on my boat, and I needed to punch 88 holes and inset eyelets. Any mistakes would have been very obvious and spoilt the work. The canvas I have used is very heavy duty marine canvas, used double, or treble in some places. I have used eyelet kits in the past and was very apprehensive about this task. Firstly, I was delighted upon opening the packaging to find a lovely quality case, sturdy and very practical, which stores the 2 hole punches, pliers and eyelets, in separate compartments. I had not expected such a quality product at this low price. This all-in-one tool set provides everything I needed for my job. Due to the thickness of the canvas, I needed to punch the holes first. No problem - no mistakes. 3 hits with the hammer resulted in a clean hole. The punched out fabric “circles” went inside the punch tool, so no mess. For single layer canvas, I used the pliers alone to make the hole and insert the eyelet. One side of the pliers is magnetic, which was useful and held the top fitting well. The circumference of the hole perfectly matched the eyelet.The job was completed without any mistakes to my entire satisfaction. (And amazement!). I am not strong, and was surprised to find that due to the built-in ratchet within the pliers, I did not need to exert excessive pressure to fix the eyelets. The result was very professional. The pliers are robust and easy to grip, yet are comfortable in the hand. TIP - check the pliers are lined up EXACTLY with the punched hole before applying pressure. It is too soon to know if the eyelets perform well without rust in a marine environment - time will tell, but I’m hopeful. Without hesitation I highly recommend this excellent quality product.

Muy facil de usar y muy efectivo.

Het gereedschap zelf is degelijk. Goede kwaliteit. Om goed aan te knijpen moet je de handvatten echter helemaal tegen elkaar aan knijpen. Ook dat is prima. Maar ik wil graag met rvs werken en je kan nergens vinden van welk materiaal de meegeleverde ogen zijn. Om die reden nieuwe 10mm rvs ogen gekocht en deze passen niet. Deze toolkit is dus alleen maar voor hun eigen materiaal. Net een fractie van een millimeter groter. Heel vervelend.
