Any tips on how to prevent it?** A: I would try to further isolate the problem. Is it the tip or the stylus? I would try: 1) remove and re-insert the tip. 2) try the other tip in the stylus. (You got 2 with your order) and 3) try the tip in a different stylus. (Borrow a friend's) **Q: can this work with the original remarkable 1 stylus?** A: With all due respect to Mr Rodriguez, I see no text prohibiting using these nibs with the Remarkable One, and they absolutely work with the Remarkable One marker. As one would expect, the writing feel on the Remarkable One device is a bit more "slippery" than the original nibs. But I see no screen damage.
