George Foreman Medium Red Steel Grill 25040

As a replacement for an old worn out one it’s great. Cooks the food well & evenly, plenty room for 8 burgers. It’s easy to use, heats up & cooks quickly. This model is an improvement as it can stand upright to help with storage and the grease tray clips on to the underside so it won’t be accidentally knocked out of the way leading to grease all over the counter. These things are always tricky to clean but this one is slightly harder as GEORGE FOREMAN is now embossed into the top of the upper grilling plate so instead of just cleaning out the channels on the plates you have to clean out the letters too which is trickier than perhaps it sounds. In short it’s not perfect but I’d still recommend it.

What a device this is. I'm sure everyone knows about these grills by now, I've certainly been eyeing one up for a good while before taking the plunge nd buying this 5 portion grill for what I felt was a great price, under £30. I'll first talk about what I consider to be the items biggest flaw and that is the temperature and how it heats up. So the device heats up the plates to a point and then stops and the residual heat continues to cook the contents. The problem with this is sometimes you just want it to heat/cook and it's in a resting phase. I use the grill for nearly everything and this is a pain for some stuff (eggs!!) I'd rather you could override this but still, I've given 5 starts as for the money it really is an amazing piece of kit. 5 portions it says and that is quite optimistic, yes it'll do 5 sausages but never 5 portions of bacon. But it is so easy to use, is a great healthier alternative to frying with extra versatility. Buy one if you're pondering if it is worth it.

A nice little grill. Warms up quickly and is easy to clean. The drip tray is easy to remove and replace and is also easy to clean. My disappointment is 1. with the claimed size (5 portion) and actual size ( I believe to be 3). 2. The length of the lead. 3. with the rear foot down the grill does slide around on a hard surface such as a work top. The actual cooking area is 28cm wide and 15cm at the sides with 17cm in the middle, it is not square. the length of the lead is 88cm from grill to plug. To give some idea of how big the cooking area is, 3 beef burgers or chicken breasts can be cooked at the same time with space around or 2 back bacon rashers across with 2/3 of one down with space around. Bought for £32 April 2021. used regularly for one person. And would buy again if needed to. Hope this all helps.

Second purchase as upgrade. Used first some years ago. Love this as really easy to use and clean. Chicken/turkey/beef in an instance, and cooks developing char flavours. I sometimes line it with baking paper before use if not marinading meats. Salmon cooks well too - just comes out flat ish! During sunny days, simply treat it as a bbq in the garden! Best to clean when hot as makes life a whole lot easier and is gentler on the grate - e.g less scrubbing and scratching. Highly recommended

This wee grill is well worth the money. Size wise, you could get away with two slices of bread, side by side, on this. I’ve cooked toasties on it. With cheese, pepperoni, smoked sausage and mushrooms. The grill cooks this in jig time. I’ve also used it to cook link sausages and bacon. and I was happy with the results. The sliding hinge on this unit makes it easy to cook thicker items. To clean the unit, I wipe the grill plates while they’re still warm, with kitchen roll. There’s no timer on this unit, but there are red and green thermostat indicator lights. You can tilt the unit, if required, to drain any grease, into the drip tray at the front of the unit. The tilt mechanism folds or unfolds from the bottom of the grill. Happy with my purchase.UPDATE. Been using this two years now, and non stick plates are still in great condition. This machine has been used lots, since I bought it, and I have to say it’s a great addition to my kitchen. Really handy for fried eggs, as well, without the mess of an oily frying pan. Just did my first panini on it today, and it was fab.

Every household should have this family size George format. I love making cheese burgers on this they are so juciy and succulent. Lessen cooking time & healthier option Very easy to clean the plates wipe down with a damp cloth or tissue as no sticking happens. Value for money is definitely worth getting when it's on offer.

I use my George Forman for bacon, sausage ,steak , onions, beefburgers,, fish fingers in batter. It grills them beautifully, and no mess and easy to clean. One thing I wish it had a timer, however considering I like to turn over and check how the cooking is going I really dont mind . Great price . I paid £35 from Amazon. I have since seen it in Sainsburys for £59 while 15 steps away in the instore Argos it is £35 . Worth walking them few steps folks .

حجمها ممتاز، تاخذ 5 ساندوتشات بجانب بعض الحجم العادي وليس الصغير، شويت فيها نقانق شالت الشدة بالكامل 12 حبة، 8 دقائق وكان الاستواء كامل وطري، قوتها 1650 واط، فيها قاعدة سفلية قابلة للطي بحيث لو فتحتها تميل الشواية للأمام وتنزل سوائل الشوي، وفيها قطعة بلاستيكية توضع في الأمام لاحتواء السوائل، أنصح فيها بشدة 👍 ولو استجد شيء بارجع اكتب تعليق
