Panasonic VHS-DVD Recorder VCR Combo HDMI with Remote Control

For some reason, the Amazon advertisement and the Seller's did not match. However the Seller kindly agreed to supply what was advertised by Amazon, sending me additional items. When I received a Remote, it did not work. I contacted Panasonic, the maker of the DVD recorder. They (via online chat) led my through Resetting the DVD Recorder to Factor Setup, suggesting that would help it to sync with the Remote. It DID NOT. In fact, it left me with a device that was in Factor Setup, with NO WAY to change it, as the Remote I had did not work. At that point, Panasonic said seeing that the Recorder was an older model, they could not provide any additional help. When I contacted the Seller for any suggestions, he was good enough to get a Remote and set it up to work immediately upon arrival. I have already used the DVD Recorder and it works great, recording an old family VHS. I am very happy with the DVD Recorder and all the Support provided by the Seller.

I am writing this after reading a negative review here on Amazon. My unit arrived looking absolutely new with everything as displayed in the offer. The unit worked perfectly as if new in the box. The only thing not included was a manual which I easily found on the Panasonic website. I have always found Panasonic equipment, very reliable, and this unit is no exception

This machine is a huge disappointment. The quality of the VHS image is poor. The DVD player worked only a couple of times. While I am generally savvy with mechanics and electronics, the manual is not useful at all. I never had the chance to try recording from VHS to DVD.

It worked well. I took my old one into for repairs. The repairs cost almost as much as just buying this one and did not give the extras provided with the purchase.

when plugged up the fan want go off ever when you turn oof the power button . picture for vhs is little poor. what should i do ? to get fan to go off with upluging the machine.
