This game manages to transcend that aged feeling by having solid gameplay and the perfect amount of micro for your squad. The gunplay is fast and hectic, there are plenty of ways to flank and have take down the enemies without taking any damage and that feeling is what makes the game great. Bad parts/ annoyances: Some keys need to be rebound, and mouse acceleration needs to be turned off, but as a pc game you can do that. Some gameplay issues like no autosave, no quciksave, large invisible model edges making corner sniping hard, you really need to pay attention to the range finder in the scope or you will hit an invisible part of a model. There are 10 levels that range from cities to oil storage/pumping facilities. The level design and enemy AI are fair and the weapons have good sounds to them. The player(s) control four soldiers that each has a weapon and ability specialty. The game controls ok for pc, but I believe it is better on a console.
