My dog’s favorite food
My dog loves this yummy, high quality grain free dog food. It’s the closest thing to organic food that I’ve found that is still a dry dog food. I prefer to keep my dog on dry food as long as I can. It doesn’t have a strong smell, and it seems to stay fresh in a container for as long as you need. My pup has been eating it for years and no digestion issues ever! Worth it!

Dogs love it
The size of food has gone down in size, so my dogs struggle at times with choking due to small bites get stuck. However, It's the best food for them.

Healthy Diet for my Yorkie
When I got me Yorkie, the breeder had raised her on puppy variety of Taste of The Wild, so that is how I was introduced to it. I tried a leading brand that is supposed to be based upon the science of pet food, but it didn't seem to be as good for my dog. So I found the Appalachian Valley variety of Taste of The Wild, which has small kibble for my small dog. She seems to be healthier, with much less weeping from her eyes. And she eats it well. I'm happy with the ingredients that are listed too.

I'm clearing the air! ***(Upgrading from 2 to 4 stars 06/03/18)***
**** today (06/03/18) I am changing my rating from two to four stars. This is good food, it just didn't work for my goofy mutt. Taste of the Wild refunded my purchase, and I'm back to our original food that was working, the Pine Forest with venison. Very good company, they were very helpful and I like that they stand behind their guarantee. Original review: This gives my older, pomeranian/chihuahua the most noxious, horrible gas I've ever experienced, everywhere he goes this wretched-smelling green cloud follows. I seriously have to have a can of Lysol spray next to me - and he's got gas pains, so the poor little guy doesn't leave my side! To be a bit more fair, I've used a different "flavor" of the Taste of the Wild (without garbanzo beans, like this one!) but decided to try this one since it seems to run about $7 cheaper a bag. The other flavor (Pine Forest with Venison and Legumes) did not cause the gas issue, so I guess the garbanzos must be cheaper for them to use than the legumes!

Ingredients are top notch.
My dog loves this. I’m very picky about the ingredients in his food. And I have to say you would be hard pressed to do better. I couldn’t. I have a 7 lb maltipoo so I need the small breed variety. The stores are usually sold out of this one so it’s easier for me to have it shipped.

Usually into Acana and Orijen, but.... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I've been feeding my dogs Acana and Orijen food for years with good results. However, this summer one of my dogs started to have digestive issues. After a few vet visits, labs, and some medications, the vet hypothesized that there was an issue with the food. I cycle through the bags (4lb) quickly, I have two other dogs eating the same food, and I'd tossed all of the food twice (as a precaution), so I didn't think it was likely. The working theory was that the heat that the food was being stored/transported in (before making it to the house) was making it unsuitable for my dog. Sounded plausible enough, so I switched back to Taste of the Wild. My two 6 pound Japanese Chins and one Tibetan Spaniel absolutely DEVOUR this food. The chins, with their tiny teeth, generally consume their food a bit more slowly. The kibble in this food is very small and breaks apart well for them, but does not crumble or generate too much dust in the container. Notably, this food is not nearly as oily as the other brands I was using. I have no idea if that was a factor with my dog, but she's doing well with the food change. On a final note: my dogs enjoy the food quite a bit. It does not have an overpowering smell in storage, or while serving. I don't know if anyone cares about this necessarily, but the dogs have normal, well-formed, relatively odor-less stools on this food. I highly recommend ToTW, and will probably switch to it exclusively.
