It probably will fit 100 feet of 16 gauge... **Q: Will this hold 200 ft of 18 gauge cord?** A: If a single wire, it should hold it. I have a .25” x 50 ft extension cord on one of these and is about half full. This is not a very heavy duty reel but it has its place. **Q: Does 100 feet of 12/3 gauge extension cord fit on this reel?** A: No, I originally bought this for 12/3 but the fin where it hooks on to the inner reel was not big enough to accept it.
