This is the second one of these we’ve bought. Very pleased with it. We put in the dishwasher when it needs a good clean.

We’ve had one of these for years and works perfectly - although we needed to replacement due to general wear. The airflow design prevent moisture buildup so smells. Highly recommended

This compost bin works perfectly and is easy to use. Be careful to always put it in the top tray in your dishwasher, since it will warp from the heat in the lower tray.

Single handedly the best food bin we have ever used. When I got divorced this food bin was an actual discussion point and my ex took it. So I had to buy one. No sweating, significantly reduced smells. Not sure how this isn't the gold standard for food bins

I bought this exact product about four years ago, and it’s my second one. It’s incredibly durable and odour-free. Just be careful not to put it in the dishwasher and use a high-temperature wash cycle; I ruined my first one that way.

I’ve tried so many compost bin and this is definitely the best one. The inside of the bin doesn’t get moist. Although the bin is vented from the bottom sides, the base of the bin has a slight curve inward which prevents liquid from spilling out in the event the compost bag breaks. It will still smell if you don’t empty the bin frequently but that’s inevitable regardless of good the bin is.

Ah jeez, if this thing weren't so damned awesome I would give it fewer stars because the lid is ... not durable. Many reviews on their own website say the same thing -- the lid breaks. It's "useable" when it breaks, but not really. The lid, as it should, pops open on its own when you push the tab with your elbow because you weren't thinking to open it before covering yourself in chicken juice and soggy paper towel. Awesome. But that's the bit that breaks -- it won't open on its own. Mine lasted a couple years, mind you, but I was so so so careful with it. It says dishwasher safe and it did see a few tours in there but I mostly washed it by hand, carefully. You can buy lids on the US website. No shipping to Canada. I msg'd them on facebook and they replied saying to email them and they'd help. I did, and they didn't (reply... at all). I haven't pestered as I just bought a whole new one. I do prefer the white/grey colour combo -- much nicer than the black-white that I have replaced. Functionally though -- amazing. It is magic. You have to have some god awful stuff in there for like a week or more in order for things to smell. Keep the lid closed, you're gucci. I always put a single piece of paper towel (or like, restaurant napkins that they give out in excess) at the bottom of each new bag to catch anything liquidy and really that's it. No smells. No messes. It's the best. Giving it 4* even though it's fragile and broke and I was left to buy a whole new one vs get a lid like the 'muricans can.
