Yes, needs glue,paint, putty (if needed), sandpaper. Needs supervision for kids.

I don't know if you are a modeler or not but this is a plastic model kit you have to put together. As far as accessories, like missiles, you glue them to the jet. The cockpit can be glued as open or closed. I would recommend that you lookup this model on YouTube before you make the purchase. Make sure you type in the maker and model name in search. Best.
