Boom Mat Spray-On sound deadening is perfect for reducing unwanted road noise and deadening vibrations in those hard to reach places such as trunk interiors, fender wells, undercarriage, body panels, rear quarters and inside door panels to name a few. Boom Mat Spray-On also serves as a thermal barrier insulating against unwanted heat. Whether you are looking for a quiet ride by eliminating squeaks, rattles, vibrations and unwanted engine and road noise, the benefits of Boom Mat Spray-On sound deadening can be used on any vehicle. Boom Mat Spray-On can be applied in multiple layers for even more sound deadening while handling temperatures up to 300 degrees F. Can be applied to non-coated surfaces and can be top coated with paint after only 6 hours of dry time. Review: I've sound dampened the cabin of my truck thoroughly, and got to thinking I could dampen more - though less for sound and more for thermal insulation. While working under my truck I noticed there was quite a bit of surface area under the bed and walls that I could coat. Why do that? Because I camp from the bed of my truck. Laying down what I could of sheet dampening in those areas, I then sprayed layers of the Boom Mat to cost the gaps and seal the edges of the sheet dampening. I coated both sides of all wheel shrouds, and inside the wheel wells. Overall the results are great. There is slight reduction of road noise, with definite thermal insulation - of I'd known of this product while I was working my cabin I certainly would have ran it there as well. One caution - PPE as always, but wear clothes you can stand to stain or toss - product can be drippy and overspray.overstay. Overall I have used about 15 cans of Boom Mat to layer out and coat to my satisfaction. It won't replace sheets of dampening material, but it isn't intended to - use this to hit and coat the areas you can't lay mats. Bonus feature, it gave protection from ocean salt on recent travels. I wouldn't recommend it for the frame, but would for the body. Review: This material made the door sound like it was solid handles well cleans up easily with grease and wax remover until it dries

Good coverage, time will tell on durability but seems like it should be ok

Works ok. I bought a case to eliminate the road noise in my daughters car. I sprayed all 4 fender wells and the bottom and sides of the trunk. It did help but not as much as I was hoping it would. It took 1 can per fender well and 2 cans in the trunk. It looks great just wish it had more sound deadening capability.

There were lots of reviews that says this product smells bad. It's not worse than Rustoleum's Undercoating you buy at Home Depot. So this statements has no merit. Second, it's unlike Rustoleum -- it's much thicker in consistency when applied -- which explains why it has such good sound deadening properties similar to applying Dynamat Extreme or Fat Mat -- places where it's difficult to apply these type of materials -- for example under wheel wells where most of the road noises comes through to the cabin on my 2016 Sprinter 2500 -- I am literally sitting on top of the wheel well! Overall, I am happy with this product and I recommend highly.
