The weight limit is 44 lbs. **Q: Does the computer need to be mounted flush to the top, or can it hang down some? my pc's power buttons and front ports are on the top.** A: I would hand it down so that the top of your computer is about 1/4 to 1/2 the distance from the bottom of the metal brace to the top. If you don't leave enough of a gap then it will be difficult to the chassis in without scratching it on the screws that connect the brace to to desk. If you let it hang to far below then it wont be as stable as it should be. If you know what you're doing with the right type of welder, I supposeyou could attach a vertical brace on the side. **Q: Is it possible to attach this to the top of the desk (upside down) so have your tower on the desk but secure with no chance of ot being knocked off?** A: I suppose it would be possible to attach this to the top of a desk. Just secure the metal brackets to the top with the screws and the nylon bands would route over the top. With enough force though, the tower could still be knocked over.
