Best way: Fill the unit with gasoline and position it above the machine being refilled (for example, my front walkway is three steps above my driveway so I pull the unit up to the top of the three steps and position the machine being refilled on the driveway). Connect the hose to the unit, open the valves and start refilling the tank by pumping the handle until gas begins to flow. Hold the handle open until the tank is filled, then release the handle to stop the flow.Second best way (when you cannot position the unit above the tank being filled): Attach the hose to the unit, open the valves and pump the handle continuously to fill the tank. When the tank is filled, stop pumping and release the handle.

does this leak when layed down?

Not at all! I drove over 3000 miles with it and it did not leak one drop. I even off roaded with it, it is very durable and well worth the money! It almost gave me a full tank and I have a 2011 crew cab Toyota Tundra

Can you use this to pump or siphon fuel from another car so I can get fuel from our other car in times of emergency?

Siphoning gas from almost all modern cars is practically impossible since they are equipped with an anti-siphon screen in the fuel filler pipe. You can't get the hose into the gas tank at all.

Is there a power pump handle option

I am not aware of any flow enhancement device for this unit. This unit uses a gravity/siphon type system. I use it to transfer gasoline from the dock to a boat tank which is always located lower than the Duramax. Sure beats lugging 5 gallon cans of gasoline down to the dock and is a lot lessmessy when doing the actual transfer.

Estructura sólida, excelentes acabados del plástico. Durante la escasez de gasolina, esta si lo rellenaban por ser un tanque apto para ello. Es de gran capacidad, más de 60 litros. Tiene una pequeña válvula que permite estar liberando el gas de si se almacena por mucho tiempo.

Arrivato imballato male, senza istruzioni.Riempito di gasolio, al primo utilizzo la pistola non funzionava. Svuotato con sifone,un disastro gasolio ovunque. avviata pratica di reso. Non lo consiglio proprio, non si può vendere prodotti del genere. Se non mi restituiranno i soldi non comprerò mai più nulla su amazon

Great fuel transfer for the boat.....helps me avoid paying the crazy cost of fuel at the marina without having to use a bunch of jerry cans. Works as advertised and I would take those negative reviews with a grain of salt......as I always say "you can't fix stupid". Sure it takes about 10min to empty it but you can't expect a gravity fed system to work like a gas station pump. I suggest that if possible you make sure the tank is higher than what you are fueling to help the process. For those who say that it's heavy, what did you expect when you filled it with 50+ liters of gas?
