The dvd was scratched and skipped blu ray I think is fine though I haven’t watched it yet

Great movie for explaining emotions to kids. As a parent to an anxious daughter, this movie was great to explain to her what's going on inside her head and to give her some coping mechanisms when anxiety hits.

Inside Out 2 is a wonderful sequel that manages to recapture the heart of the original while exploring new and relatable themes. The introduction of emotions such as Anxiety, Envy and Embarrassment feels natural and adds real depth to Riley’s story as she enters a more complicated stage of her life. The film has humour, warmth and a surprising amount of emotional weight, all presented in a way that both children and adults can appreciate. The 4K presentation is excellent. Colours look vibrant, the textures in the mind world are incredibly detailed and the image remains clean and sharp throughout the entire movie. Pixar’s animation truly benefits from the higher resolution and the improved clarity. The HDR really enhances scenes filled with bright memories, glowing emotional effects and the colourful landscapes inside Riley’s mind. Audio quality is also impressive. Dialogue is perfectly clear, the soundtrack sounds rich and the emotional moments have real impact. It is a very immersive experience from start to finish. As a physical release it is absolutely worth having. It is the kind of film that rewards watching in the best quality possible, and the 4K version delivers that without question. A beautiful film with a fantastic presentation. Highly recommended for fans of Pixar and for anyone who enjoyed the original.
