I was using smaller balls sized for your feet for the meralgia paresthetica hip pain I have and they were just not cutting it. I skeptically bought these, thinking a large ball would be better. I was annoyed at the price. I thought it was a little high, but it was for three balls. These are amazing - two of them have tread to break up that tissue and dig into the muscle. I run the ball over my hips against a wall until the areas that burn dissipate. Amazing results. I could lie on them and let the ball dig into my hip, but I haven't tried that yet. I do the wall rolling everyday and have noticed relief. The balls are great quality and perfectly sized for your hips and thighs against a wall. Much better than trying a tennis ball. These balls are harder than a tennis ball, so they really break up that stiff fascia tissue and muscles.
