I have been trying to clean with bleach or vinegar, but then I read an article by Consumer Reports that you should not do that. These tablets made my appliances smell so nice. Love to use them right before we leave on vacation so we don’t have to come back to stinky washing machine drains. Plus I have peace of mind I’m using a product specifically designed to clean the appliances.

Product was easy to use, however, I was not satisfied with the results of either product. There was still residue, presumably soap, on inside of the dishwasher door and bottom . Similar issue on tub rubber ring on the washer. We are an older retired couple and our appliances do not get heavy use, additionally they are only a couple years old and we are the original purchasers. Do believe product delivered promised results.

I use a washing machine cleaner every week because my neighbor (I live in a duplex) washes her dog pee pads WITHOUT SOAP! Then our clothes smell like dog pee after washing. So I have used many brands over the years, I tried this one but sadly, I didn’t notice any difference from all the other brands, sure it may have descaled my machine but I can’t tell. The main issue I have is that this brand is much, much more expensive for only 6 tablets! Consequently, I will be buying a cheaper brand in the near future.
