Started on right side, wife wanted it moved to left side, then in the middle facing you. We've left it in the middle. It's easy to tighten the faucet down since there's a plastic tightener underneath, just unscrew a bit, move everything to where you want it, then tighten back up. **Q: My sink has 3 holes & I don't want to use the plate to cover them. Can I add a soap dispenser & lotion dispenser for the unused holes?** A: I believe you can. It depends on their sizes. I used the plate and the far right hole towards the side of the kitchen sink for my Aquasana osmosis water filter faucet.
