I use these jars for whipped tallow. They are durable and look very professional.

I love these because of the amber color that protects the ingredients from the sunlight. I used them for making homemade vanilla bean paste and stored it in the fridge. The lid doesn’t rust.

These 2 oz amber jars are exactly what I needed for my whipped tallow. The glass is thick and durable, and the metal lids are a huge plus—they don't crack like plastic ones tend to do. I've had zero issues with leaking, and they give everything a nice, professional look. I’ll definitely be ordering more!

They arrived in perfect condition… I love the white cat that comes underneath the metal black lid.it just gives a much more sophisticated and hygienic feel. I bought these for my whipped Shea butters and they work perfectly.

Nice 2 oz jars, with steel lids that won't crack. They also have a separate tabbed seal inside. I needed light blocking jars, but wanted them with metal lids. I've found that black plastic lids, though they look nice, are very fragile, and even tightening them down a little bit will eventually crack them. Black plastic is very brittle for some reason. I don't know if that's true for all plastic lids, but the ones I've used it is. Metal lids are durable, and I recommend these. It took me forever to find amber light blocking jars on here with metal lids. Who would've thought. I'm using these for a an oil based moisturizing lotion I developed. Works well for that.

Packaged well. Most jars were good but 3 had imperfections. Hairline fractures/ imperfections. Didn’t look good plus may break easily. Had to order a replacement order

Since there were conflicting reviews: These arrived in a plastic bag, but were enclosed in foam and arrived in good order. I removed each jar and none were broken or had faults nor were the mouths chipped. The lids were screw-on metal lids with a plastic liner to fit under them. I ordered these to use for a homemade herbal savue that is sensitive to light and air. These should be exactly what I need.

These jars are perfect for my all natural and eco friendly body butters and creams. I love that they are metal and glass! No more plastic. I want my customers to know that their product comes in recyclable packaging. These really filled the order perfectly.

The way these got packaged was not the smartest way. They were lined up, 3 lines of 4, bubble wrapped and then the length was rolled up. So all the hottles were haphazardly stacked onto eachother in weird angles, mine were not in a box but one of those paper slips. All but 5 bottle lids were dented. It was slight, checked them all for seal disruption, but they all were in good shape. I tested all with liquid to make sure none leaked, and they were all good,(even though they were dented). But for me, they were more artificial dents at the top of the lid that did not disrupt the way it forms around the glass. Otherwise, glass jars are good, no breaks or cracks. And the lids fit well, a bit thin, but they do their purpose. I believe this is the only grouping of amber glass jars with metal lids. They also include a little packed styrofoam round to sit in the lid. Worth the higher price for me compared to cheaper priced jars that are the same with plastic lids. Metal, glass and wood are the way to go.
