Works on clothes moth breeding in drains
This stuff seems to work in terms of shutting down clothes moth breeding in our drains. The effect of a single treatment isn't permanent, so periodic follow-up treatments are recommended. The scent is fairly strong but not obnoxious.

Great Product to Help Get Rid of Gnats
I will try and keep this review short and hope that it helps you with your gnat problem. I came home from work one day, last September, and noticed a few gnats, but didn’t think too much about it. I had never had a problem with gnats, I never dreamed I would spend a year trying to get rid of them. I bought some window adhesive strips and put on the window in the bathroom, that is where I saw them. Within a week of that they were growing in numbers. I first tried bleach, then tried using baking soda, salt and vinegar for months, that didn’t really help. I wasn’t sure which drain they were coming from, be it the shower drain or sink drain or both. As time went on the gnat problem was growing. It’s now 5 months later and still have the problem. I called a plumber out, he said, Oh, you need to call a pest control company. I called a pest control company and he said use Vinegar, salt and baking soda. LOL I went back online and purchased a KATCHY Indoor Insect Trap: Bug, Fruit Fly, Gnat, Mosquito Killer - UV Light, Fan, Sticky Glue Boards Trap Even The Tiniest Flying Bugs - No Zapper. This worked great! Well, I thought it fixed the problem. But no, gnat problem didn’t go away, because I had not gotten to the root of the problem. It’s now 8 months later. I went online and read and read about gnats. What I was learning was that I need to get rid of the larvae in order to get rid of the gnats. I found Rockwell IBDC128 InVade Bio Drain Gel. This is a great product. It really cleaned the walls of the drain, but still didn’t get rid of the problem. Next product was InVade Hot Spot Bio Foam. This is basically the same product as mentioned earlier (Rockwell IBDC128 inVade Bio Drain Gel) but it’s in foam form. This is a great product, it allows you to turn the can almost upside down, to spray foam in your drain. Doesn’t take much, so it last longer. But, unfortunately that didn’t get rid of the gnats. So, went back online and searched again for something to help me with this problem. Next product I found was Gentrol Concentrate IGR Insect Growth Regulator 10x1oz ZOE1006B and Green Gobbler Fruit Fly Goodbye Gel Drain Treatment | Drain Fly Killer | Fruit Fly Killer | Drain Flies Treatment | Fruit Flies Treatment | Drain Fly & Fruit Fly Eliminator, FINALLY I found something that was getting to the larvae. That is what Gentrol Concentrate IGR Regulator does. It kills the larvae. It doesn’t kill the adult gnats though. You will still have to deal with the adults until the product has successfully killed all the larvae. This can take as much as 2 weeks and then a week or so of treating the problem to make sure it doesn’t come back. The key is to treat the larvae everyday. Thank goodness I found Gentrol and Green Gobbler. I mixed the Gentrol with the Green Gobbler in a 16 oz squeeze bottle. Use gloves when handling this. It took 1 month after I started using it. I can’t say enough about Green Gobbler and Gentrol Concentrate IGR Regulator along with the KATCHY machine. They have successfully gotten rid of the gnats. You may not have the problem as bad as I did, but I wish I could have had this information to help me figure out the fix for the gnats. Lots of luck!

What I did to eliminate my drain fly infestation and product review
I'd been dealing with a drain fly infestation for months and was at my wits end. Was killing 20-40 each day by hand or more. Tried all kinds of things to get rid of them - bug spray, lining my windows with bug spray, baking soda and vinegar down the drains, bug killer down the drains, sticky paper, and several other methods you've probably read about online. I even used one of those hand-held electric racket zappers to swipe at them which actually made hunting them down kind of fun. ZAP! The product: I used this pleasant smelling goo a few times as instructed and it seems to have taken care of much of the problem. After applying it to my shower drain and bathroom sink, the leftover gel around the drains had a bunch of drain fly carcasses in it the next day. I did the same thing over a period of about a week and more carcasses would appear each time. I have effectively eliminated a drain fly infestation which was driving me mad. Very cool! Keep in mind there were other tactics I employed because I wanted to be thorough and make sure these pests were GONE. So here are some suggestions which I hadn't seen listed on any of the "how to kill drain flies" sites. Adapt and use these in addition to using the gel and your problem will be no more. 1) It seems drain flies LOVE bathroom towels, especially ones left up to dry. I would pick up my towel and three or four would immediately fly off of it. So I removed the towel from the bathroom when done with it and place it in my dryer where it was inaccessible. I think they use these to breed or nest. Yuck. You can replace the towels again once the flies have been eliminated. 2) Remove bath mat, especially if made of cloth or wool. I think they breed there, too. 3) Remove any cloth shower curtains (which can get very damp). Basically, remove anything that gets wet and collects human skin cells or byproducts. 4) Flush out your jacuzzi if you have one. Jacuzzis have a lot of pipes which collect a lot of gunk just like your drain does. When I cleaned it out, a ton of unsightly organic effluvium came out, including a ton of fly carcasses. Blech! There are videos on Youtube showing how to do this. 5) Put sticky paper on the window sills. This caught a TON of stray drain flies and other pests stuck between the window and outside. 6) This is a bit more hardcore, but you may want to try buying a bug zapper and covering the windows in your living space and leave it on over night. Drain flies are attracted to light and will try to escape through your windows. When you block them out and provide only one source of light, they will be attracted to it. This seemed to help me a little bit. It captured and killed some of them but not as many as I'd hoped. 7) Vacuum the heck out of your place. I'm not an expert but it seems they like our "leftovers", as in skin cells, dust and other elements produced by indirect human waste. If anything, you'll have a nice clean environment to live in. 8) De-clutter any area where they seem to be thriving. This could help expose breeding points. The bathroom was my target as this was where most of them were congregating. I made it uninhabitable for them by stripping it bare. 9) If you have a spider, she is your best friend. I had one who was systematically capturing and eating any stray drain flies. My own personal serial killer for hire. Spider caught more of these pests than my bug zapper. I must have counted around 40 carcasses! Do not kill any spiders. They feast on these critters. Keep them around! They are literally a secret weapon which costs you nothing, except maybe a few creepy crawly dreams. I think most of the problem was addressed by the drain gel, probably 90% of the issue. Could be more or less for you. But the chances of eliminating the problem will increase if you follow the steps above. Good luck with it!
