This fuel filter matches the OEM specs for fit, form and function. Note that it does require it to be installed in a specific direction as shown on the filter itself (all of these types of filters do). I can’t describe the material / quality of the inside of the filter (it’s sealed) but replacing fuel filters at the correct time / distance intervals per your owners manual will ensure that it won’t deteriorate due to age and over use (not quality of the product itself).
