It is faster connect to your vehicle in question than using the Bluetooth, there is some latency when using Bluetooth but you can move around out of the car to see what is going on. **Q: Love this but will it suppport bi-directional control for any 2018+ that has autoauth fca sgw, is that true or do i not understand fca/sgw correctly?** A: The bi-directional control of 2018+ FCA vehicles are not yet supported by D8BT. As with any non Factory diagnostic tools such as this some software functions are limited on some vehicles. The best thing to do is if you want to know if this function operates on your specific vehicle is to go to the Xtool website and give them your vehicle information and they will tell you if the software covers the functions you want. Their response back is very quick and so far for me their customer service has been outstanding!
