But the $200 is larger and has a desk mount. **Q: How easily could a cat knock over a key light air?** A: Yeah I don’t think it would be an issue. The base is heavy and wide. Even trying to tip the light at the top of the pole the base holds the light in place. **Q: can you use 1 instead of ring light?** A: You can always use just one Key Light or any Elgato light without getting two of the same kind but it's recommend to get two Key Lights to balance the light in the room. The Ring Light functions and works on it's own and is inherently different in function to the Key Lights. It could easily have an iPhone attached and not cause any issues. It might be able to handle the weight of an iPad. It is well built and the pivot points seem stiff enough to hold an iPad, depending on how you set it up. If the light is in a more upright position, it won't have any problems.
