Worked great! I used it to clone it as a webcam for my work laptop so we could play Jackbox games. The HDMI went in perfectly. High quality audio too. I would choose UGREEN over some other brands because it has proven to be a whole lot more reliable and worth the money. A little latency, but not too much. Haven’t tried it in my streaming setup yet though.

UGREEN is one of my go-to brands for reasonably priced adapters, etc., and this didn't disappoint. I tried and have looked a more expensive alternatives to get the HDMI output of my various cameras into my PC. I have Canon and while you can use a USB connection, the HDMI is much high quality with an adapter. And this worked exactly as advertised, and is plug and play, my Zoom and other software recognized the input.

I needed an adapter so I could connect an HDMI cable coming out of an HDMI splitter to my computer and view the video coming through that cable (as well as send it out on OBS studio to YouTube. This does the job great. I really like that it can be USB-C or USB 3.0. With this project, my USB-C port will be used by another video feed so having different options allows me to run both.

I was looking into buying a new webcam for streaming, but I already had a good camcorder and I was wondering if I could just use that. I learned that I needed a capture card and saw that this one was affordable and just what I needed. Setup was easy and OBS detected it immediately upon plugging it in. Video quality was fantastic. You'll need to disable buffering or else there's an audio delay, and it might be a bit CPU intensive. After running it for over an hour it was only slightly warm to the touch, so it dissipated heat well. All in all it was just what I needed for my purposes, and it works as advertised. Works pretty well at much cheaper than an Elgato, but be advised it won’t support the full resolution (or aspect ratio!) of an iPad, so you’ll have to live with black bars and some fuzziness if you were hoping to use it to make your iPad into an external monitor. If there was a decent moderate or high resolution 3:2 aspect ratio option that would have at least gotten close, but the only 3:2 resolution option was *very* low res and made the screen go green anyways. As far as I can tell, there are no capture cards that support decent 3:2 or other typical Apple aspect ratios or resolutions, so despite my 4 star review I sadly don’t have I better alternative for you. I’ll probably use this one for 16:9 and just accept the black bars above and below the iPad. (4:3 is also usable is you prefer your black bars on the side.) Note if you wanted to use this to make a MacBook or one of the many 16:10 aspect ratio PC ultrabooks into an external monitor, you’ll also have black bars, though not as bad as on an iPad.

I bought this to use with my switch, and I picked this one because it seemed like good quality. I haven’t noticed clear input lag, which is always great when it comes to capture cards, the video quality is also solid. Overall a good card for the money and I do recommend this for streaming on a budget, or just screensharing games with friends.

I had done reasonable research as to why a person cannot connect a HDMI DVD player to their laptop. Apparntly 90% of computers do not have HDMI IN ports. This device was to completely solve that and it was supposed to be Plug and Play. Well there is still a problem because if it actually worked as tech savy type people say, then a person could illegally copy material that has HDCP protection. I have also come to learn that trying to defeat the HDCP system can be both illegal as was as ruin your equipment. So while this is probably an okay product, I will have to return it. Plug and Play for computers, games and cameras but not copyright protected DVD players. Most people will not have any problem since DVD players are largely obsolete.

Unbelievable value. Worked perfectly to give me a second camera for a portion of our church's' live-stream.

Pris pour utilisation d'un metaquest et le transfert est très bon. Belle image. Malheureusement il n'y a pas un connecteur usbc supplémentaire pour charger l'appareil.

edit: I ordered a Google TV Streamer, so kept this VCC to try on that device, and it works perfectly, but not at all on my firestick - weird. So, changing from 1 to 5 stars, as the issue seems to be with the firestick, not the capture card. Displays the UGreen Logo OK, but then nothing. Same on 2 laptops. My $4 Temu one works OK, but this $40 UGreen one is now in the bin, so much for paying for quality!!

Perfect adaptor to connect GoPro Hero 7 and use it as a Webcam. UGREEN is my favorite brand for this type of accessories.
