This AstroAI tyre inflator is fantastic, it does exactly what you need it to do, plug it into your cars 12v, turn on, attach the tyre connector (much easier to do than using a commercial tyre pump). It will then give you the tyre's current pressure. You then +/- adjust the the pressure as displayed on the easy to read LCD display and press start, within a minute or two the tyre is inflated to the required pressure and then automatically stops. Disconnect the tyre and replace the tyre cap. Job done. Beats standing in the rain trying to connect a garage tyre pressure gauge. It even has a built in LED light. All fo a very reasonable price. The only thing that could be improved is the way the 12v cable is stored but I'm not complaining.

Early days but seems good. Very easy to use, quick inflation, easy to read display, pre-sets for cars, bikes and motorbikes and very compact.

Works well so far and the only issue I find is to do with the leads... There is no way of storing them way neatly after use, unless you place the unit back in the cardboard box that it came in (to avoid an untidy tangle), which is not ideal in the long term... Other than that is a worthy kit to have.

Superb and easy to use.

Since purchasing it, I’ve used it once to top up the air in all 4 tyres on the car. The pump worked well, and inflated them quite quickly. Unlike other pumps that I have used in the past, this one hardly leaked any air when connecting and disconnecting from the tyre valves. It’s early days yet but I’m very happy with my purchase.

This is an absolutely brilliant piece of kit. Compact and does the job perfectly! So much so, my friends are constantly borrowing!

Great piece of kit to keep in the boot, garages are either broken or charge a fortune. Simply plug into the 12v socket on your dash, wind your windows down, turn engine on and set digital display to set the required pressure in either psi or bar, connect to your tyre and toggle the on off switch till it starts. Shows the existing pressure at start, chugs away till it reaches pressure you set. Auto switch off. I feed through the open windows on a 5m Volvo xc90 and it comfortably reaches all 4 wheels Loses a star because the cables all fit in the back of the unit but a real faff and takes ages- needs a redesign Great buy for peace of mind if you find yourself with a slow puncture to get to the garage- as I did on wife’s car Bought another 2 for wife’s and daughters car

Ich hatte mal wieder einen Hänger etwas länger zu stehen und irgend wie sah der Reifendruck nicht wirklich gut aus. Aber wie sollte ich den jetzt wieder aufpumpen, ohne den Hänger zu bewegen? Ein Kompressor musste her. Nun entsinne ich mich noch sehr gut an die anderen Teile, die ich mir bereits mal irgend wann gekauft hatte und die alle irgendwie nichts taugten. Diesmal wollte ich einen kleinen kompakten Kompressor, der das tut, was man eigentlich will. In meinem Fall Autoreifen aufpumpen. Genau das macht dieser Kompressor hervorragend. Inspiriert durch andere Rezensionen, die ich über dieses Produkt bereits gelesen hatte, entschlosss ich mich dieses Teil zu ordern und habe es nicht bereut. Stecker in die Zigarettenanzündersteckdose und Zündung an. Den fest verbundenen Schlauch an den ersten Reifen und siehe da, der Druck wurde direkt, im beleuchteten Display, angezeigt - in PSI. Nun das war jetzt nicht gerade die Maßeinheit, die mir vorschwebte, also kurz mal die Taste "R" gedrückt und auf BAR umgestellt. Diese Umstellung blieb im übrigen auch nach Tagen noch erhalten! Da der Druck zu gering war, mittels den Pfeiltasten "nach oben / nach unten) den gewünschten Wert eingestellt und den Kompressor mittels des An-/Ausschalters eingeschaltet. Der Kompressor pumpte jetzt den Reifen automatisch auf den von mir eingestellten Wert auf. Fantastisch, besser und einfacher geht es nicht. Alle 4 Reifen entsprechend geprüft und korrigiert. Aber Achtung: Dieser Kompressor ist entsprechend der Länge des fest angeschlossenen Kabels nur für die Befüllung der Reifen am Fahrzeug geeignet. Um einen Hänger zu befüllen, benötigt man zwingend eine Verlängerung! Hierfür rate ich dringend ein vernünftiges Kabel zu kaufen und nicht so einen dünnen billigen Schrott! Die mitgelieferte Aufbewahrungstasche und diverse Zusatzadapter rundeten für mich das Kauferlebnis positiv ab. Jetzt kann ich das gute Stück immer im Fahrzeug mit mir führen und habe es vernünftig verpackt. Der Tragegriff ist im übrigen sehr praktisch und vor allem stabil gebaut, so wie der Gesamteindruck des Kompressors ist. Es handelt sich um ein grundsolides Stück Technik, an der ich hoffentlich noch lange Freude haben werde. Also ich kann das Gerät bedenkenlos empfehlen. Für diese Rezension habe ich im übrigen kein Geld bekommen, noch wurde mir dieses Gerät kostenfrei zur Verfügung gestellt. Nein, man wird es kaum glauben, ich habe den Kompressor wirklich selber gekauft und bezahlt. Ja und es ist Fakt, ich bin auch jetzt, Wochen später, immer noch begeistert davon. Mittler Weile hat es einen festen Platz bei mir im Fahrzeug (in einem Ablagebereich) und ist somit zu meinem ständigen Begleiter geworden. Irgend wie fühle ich mich jetzt, wo immer mehr Tankstellen das "Luft tanken" kostenpflichtig gemacht haben, wohler. Jetzt kann ich immer, wann ich das will, meinen Luftdruck prüfen und ggf. korrigieren...... und zwar kostenfrei. (-;

5 month update: I stand by my review. Still works like a charm. Compressor started doing more noise than usual, but it started after I let it run for 11 min straight (as I mentioned on my original review, this might harm the compressor as expected from this price range compressor). I’ve used it for 3-7 min, at least once per week for the past 5 months. Original review: This product surpassed my expectations. I have 3 slow leak (yes, I know, I need to take this look at) and each week I have to bring up the tire pressure in each by around 7 psi. It takes me less than 10 minutes to get all 3 tires up to the manufacture psi (perfect for me to wait for my turbocharged car to heat up to operation temperature). Once it took a 15 psi to 32 psi in around 2m47s. People complain the unit burned/stoped working, but did they read the manuals?! These kind of compressors are not intended to be used MORE THAN 10 MINUTES straight. It will burn the compressor if you try to use it for 10 min + as many other products like this. So take the “tHe CoMpReSsoR StOpEd WoRkInG” reviews with a grain of salt. I’ve been using it for more than a month now. Temperatures ranging from 10 celcius to -15 celcius with no issues at all. Even my father wants one for Christmas. Perfect for the average Joe that wants to inflate a tire once in a while. Pressure gage is a little bit off always showing 1 psi less than what I asked for. I guess this will depend on each unit sensor. Just measure it manually and adjust the desired PSI once you know the discrepancy on your own unit. The little bag for transport is cheap in quality as you can imagine, but it fits everything perfectly inside and takes little to no space on my trunk (comparable in size to 1/3 of a 5L oil bottle). The pressure menu is intuitive and easy to use. 12/10 product, as long as you use it like it is intended.
