これまでいくつか高価格帯イヤホンを使ってきましたが、IE900は「解像度が高い」というより、“空間表現の方向性が非常に独特”なイヤホンだと感じました。 特に印象的だったのは定位とホール感です。 左右だけではなく高さ方向の位置関係まで自然で、オーケストラを聴くと、各楽器が立体的に配置されている感覚があります。コントラバスのピチカートも、単に低音が強いのではなく、アタック後にホール空間へ広がっていく感じが非常に自然です。 現在はKahchun Wong × 日本フィルハーニー交響楽団 のマーラー5番をかなり新しい録音なのでリファレンスとして聴いていますが、録音の持つ空間情報やオーケストラ配置をかなり引き出してくれる印象です。 この空間表現は、単なる高域強調型の“解像度感”とはかなり違います。 IE900はシングルダイナミックドライバー構成ですが、そのおかげか音の繋がりや位相感が非常に自然で、各帯域がバラバラに聞こえません。結果として定位や空間の立体感が非常にわかりやすいのだと思います。 付属イヤーピースはフォームタイプよりシリコンの方が好みでした。 フォームは遮音性は高いですが、自分の環境では少し低音が詰まって聴こえました。シリコンの方が低域の抜けやホール感が自然に感じます。 また、装着感も非常に良好です。 最近の多ドライバー高級イヤホンのような大きさや圧迫感が少なく、アルミ削り出しなのもあって本体が軽く、耳から大きく飛び出ない大きさのため、長時間でもかなり快適に使えます。 「派手に音を聴かせるイヤホン」というより、“録音空間を見せるイヤホン”として非常に完成度が高い製品だと感じました。

全くのど素人ですが、結論「買って良かった」です。日常に新たな世界が広がります。 これまで iPhone ユーザーとして Apple EarPods 3.5mm と Apple AirPods Pro 初代を使い、それなりに満足してきました。 そろそろ機器更新と考える最中、DAC（Audio Digital to Analog Converter）の KHADAS「Tea Pro」に手を出し、これが好感。暫く EarPods を繋いでいましたが、バランス接続端子への興味と Prime セールで安価になっていたのをキッカケに、それでも舞台から飛び降りる想いで IE 900 に手を伸ばしました。ハイエンドとは言え、発売から年数が経過し、安価になっていたのが逆にモデルチェンジを意識させて暫く手を伸ばし辛かったです。 それでも早く手を出して良かったと思えるメリットは次の２点です。 ・音量（ボリューム）が低くても高音質・・・私は特に曲の細かい楽器の音を聴きたいとき、音にどっぷりと浸りたいときは音量を大きくしがちです。スピーカーでも音量を上げれば音場と音圧が上がり没入感が楽しめる、、と考えていたのですが、これが過ちな場合があって、IE 900 は音を大きくしなくても細かい音まで聴こえるので標準音量（全音量の半分程度）で十分、寝室など静かな場所でも家族への音漏れを気にせずに使えます。 ・長時間視聴でも疲れず耳が痛くならない・・・前項目も起因するのですが、加えて形状や付属のイヤーピースが優しいからか何時間でも音楽を聴いていられる幸せを謳歌しています。AirPods Pro は耳に突っ込む形状で耳が痛くなりがちでしたが、IE 900 も耳に突っ込む形状なのにいつまでも全く痛くならないです。 最近のイヤホンはノイズキャンセルなどどれも高性能・高音質でコードレス。それは良いのですが、反面どうしてもデジタルな「造られた音」感が拭えませんでした。もちろん IE 900 も複数音源モジュールですので調音されていますが、スピーカーのアナログな音感が心地好く、音ってアナログなんだと再認識させてくれます。特にジャズのピアノとベースとパーカッションが好きで、IE 900 はこれを良い音で鳴らせてくれて本当に嬉しいです。更に IE 900 ではポップな新曲をアナログな音で聴けるのが意外に一番楽しい発見でした。懐かしの音源から新しい音源まで引っ張り出して同じ土俵で比較して楽しんでいます。これなら有線の方が好きと自信を持って言えます。 大きな音を聴きたくて郊外の畑が多い場所に住んだのにデジタルメーター化によりアンプの電源オンだけで大電力を消費することが露呈し、家族の理解を得られず肩身が狭いこの世に、ポータブルのミニマムな環境で自分ひとり勝手気ままに好きな音楽に浸れる幸せもいいかな。それを入手できたのが私にとっての IE 900 です。

ボーカルに定評のあるイヤホンということで購入。 音質については期待通りだったが、購入後１年７ヶ月で右ユニットが故障し 保証期間内だったため新品交換となった。 しかし、交換後１年弱で今度は左ユニットが故障し音が出なくなった。 交換後１年足らず再度故障となったため、交換または有償修理を依頼したが 「分解して修理ができない仕様の製品のため有償でも修理を受けられない」とサポートより回答があった。 長い事使うつもりで購入したが、３年経たずにゴミになってしまうという想定外の事態にがっかり。 十数年ゼンハイザーユーザーだったが、これを機に別メーカーへ乗り換えを決心することとなった。 なお、自宅利用のみで負荷がかかるような使い方はしていない。 購入される方は、保証が切れると修理不可という点を考慮されることをおすすめします。

自分のリファレンスとなるイヤホンを、IE600に変えてみました。すでに発売4年目に入ろうという2026年1月現在でも、第一線に立つイヤホンです。 なかなか高価なイヤホンですが、イヤホンを趣味とする人なら、基準点として手元においておきたいイヤホンですし、趣味じゃないけど「良いイヤホンがほしい」と考えている人なら、「これ一本買って、後はあれこれ悩まない」と決めて買ってしまったほうが、中途半端な高級機を買って試行錯誤する（これがすでに沼）より、トータルでは安くなる可能性が高いと思います。 小径の1DDなのに、キレの良い低音がしっかりと音楽を支えてくれて、みずみずしいボーカル（特に女性）を楽しめ、刺さりがなく自然に伸びる高域までを、絶妙にナチュラルなバランスで聞かせてくれるという、さすがはリファレンス機とされているイヤホンだと思います。 それこそ、打ち込み系のJ-POP/K-POPから、ジャズ、クラシックまで、ジャンルを全く選ばず使えるイヤホンです。 メーカーが、レコーディングのディテールだけでなく「感情」（ここ大事）も再現し、超越する音作りを目指したと言うだけのことはあります。 しかも、エントリーレベルの数千円クラスのドングルDACでも、しっかり鳴ってくれます。高価なアンプやプレーヤーなどを用意せず、スマホにちょっとプラスした環境でも大丈夫というのも、普通の人にとっては大きなメリットです。 もちろん、パワーに余裕のある、しっかりしたDACやDAPを使えば、さらに真価を発揮してくれるのは言うまでもありません。 ただし、これは完全に個人の問題なのですが、ケーブルを含めた全体の装着感がよろしくないことと、付属のイヤピが緩いことは気になります。 ケーブルは十分良質だと思いますが、本体のケーブルコネクタの取り出しが私には不自然に思えます。その結果として、SHURE掛け（ゼンハイザーだけど）するためのチューブを、かなり思いっきり曲げて調整しないと、うまく耳にかかってくれません。これを着脱時に毎回調整することになるのが少々手間です。 私は装着感向上を目的として、手持ちのKBEAR Hazy 6N（4.4mm MMCX）にリケーブルしており、これで装着感は大きく改善されましたが、ゼンハイザーのMMCXは形状が特殊で少し奥まっているので、リケーブルには注意が必要です。 まったく固定できないケーブルもありますし、私がつけているHazyも一応固定はされますが、抜けやすいので気を使います。 付属イヤピは、他社のものに比べて、少し小さめに感じます。私は付属品はLサイズでも適合せず、密閉が取れませんでした。このイヤホンの音響設計は、耳管の容量まで考慮されたものなので、密閉が取れていないと見事に音がスッカスカになってしまいます。サイズが合わない場合は、自分の耳にサイズが合った、きちんと密閉が取れるイヤピへの交換は必須です。私は、 AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC II Standard に交換しました。 このイヤホンの場合は、しっかり密閉を取るために、個人的にはちょっと圧迫を感じるぐらいのサイズを選んだほうが良いと思います。シリコンでもフォームでも、装着直後は圧迫を感じても、しばらくつけていれば馴染んでくれるイヤピはたくさんあるので。 「世界一音の良いイヤホン」だとは言いません。上には上があると思います。ただし、私も含め、特に鋭敏な耳があるわけではない普通の人には、これ以上の投資は、理想の音を追求する終わりのない旅の始まりになってしまうでしょう。 IE600は依然として『音楽の核心』を突く一本です。音楽を愛するすべての人に、この『基準点』を体験してほしいと思います。

初めは、初期不良に辺り片方の音が途切れることがありましたが、交換後は問題はないです。 良くないところは、ケーブルがくるくる回るので、耳にかけにくく、ケーブルも若干固いので少し取り回しが良くないです。 アンバランス接続での音についてですが、音場の広さは広く、楽器の生々しさが感じられます。高いだけありますね。ダイナミック一発の音が好きなので音の繋がりから豊かさもいい感じですね。ガチャガチャせずに上品です。曲をのびのび暖かく、豊かに聴きたいときに使ってます。バランス接続はまだ、あまり聞いてません。アンバランスでも十分なので他の楽しみはとっておきます。今のところ、リスニング用で私の一番のお気に入りです。

さすが定価10万円の音質です。素晴らしいです。 特に、中高域がただ伸びるだけでなく艶やかで、他社製の中高域重視イヤホンより頭１つ抜けてます。 ケーブルは付属のケーブルと、別売りのブレードケーブルで音質に違いがあります。 個人差はありますが、リケーブルするなら純正4.4mmブレードケーブルの方が高域ブースト出来つつ中低域もしっかり出ていてピッタリなので変換アダプターが不要。 イヤーピースも音質・装着感の両面で純正が最良なので手間要らず。 全て純正品を使ってくれと言わんばかりにジャストフィットします。 初期不良で片側から音が鳴らず、結局返品になったのが残念です。 2026/2/26 追記 紆余曲折を経て再購入できました。 ボーカルに焦点を当てたイヤホンという評判ですが、声高めの男性ボーカルに凄くマッチしましたので、より高い声の女性ボーカルには更によく合うかと思われます。 もちろん、ボーカルだけではなく、中高域の多い弦楽器との相性も抜群です。 個人的な感覚ですが、リケーブル含め、全て純正品が一番合うと思うので、ケーブルやイヤーピース選びで悩みたくない人にも向いているイヤホンだと思います。

These in-ear monitors (IEMs) promise a premium listening experience, and this initial review captures my thoughts during the critical burn-in phase. Right out of the box, the IE 900's exude luxury. The impeccable craftsmanship is evident in the solid yet lightweight anodized aluminum housing, designed meticulously with Sennheiser's proprietary X3R technology. The attention to detail reassures you of the durability and quality that Sennheiser is known for. Moreover considering the fact that on first day, I broke both the mesh of ear buds which Sennheiser gracefully repaired within warranty without any cost. The unboxing experience is complemented by a generous assortment of ear tips and a premium carrying case, reflecting the company's commitment to user satisfaction. This IE900 is designed in Germany and made in Ireland and I purchased from Amazon with effective price of Rs 89999 with a caveat 24 months no cost EMI. So effective cost is around Rs 77000 plus. The initial fit is snug and comfortable, with excellent passive noise isolation that allows for an immersive listening session. During the burn-in phase which is normally 30 hours or 5 hours per day for initial 6-7 days, which is crucial for any high-end IEM, the Sennheiser IE 900 is already hinting at its potential. Out of the gate, the sound profile is impressively balanced with a slight emphasis on clarity and detail retrieval. The treble is crisp and articulate, without any signs of sibilance or harshness that often plagues lesser IEMs during their early use. The midrange, while still settling in, is already demonstrating a natural and transparent character. Vocals have a presence that's intimate, with nuances in performances being rendered with a lifelike quality that Sennheiser is celebrated for. It's clear that with more hours of play, the midrange will only become richer and more cohesive. Bass response in the initial hours is tight and controlled but not fully upto its potential in initial hours. This will come into full potential post burn-in phase as I was given to understand. There's a satisfying level of punch and depth that doesn't bleed into the mids, preserving the overall balance. The IE 900 seems to be on track to offer a bass response that is both dynamic and detailed, catering to a wide range of genres. Soundstage and imaging are other areas where the IE 900 is already showing promise. There's a sense of space and separation that's remarkable for in-ear monitors, with instruments and vocals placed accurately within an expansive soundscape. As the drivers continue to settle in, I anticipate these qualities will be further refined. Connectivity has been seamless, with the provided cable offering both a secure connection and the promise of high-fidelity audio transmission. The option for cable replacement or upgrade is a welcome feature, ensuring longevity and personalization for the user. Thus I am waiting to buy 8 wires 4.4 mm balanced Effect Audio Cadmus wires when it is available in renowned stores like HPZ or Audio Store of Pune. In conclusion, while the Sennheiser IE 900 is still in its burn-in phase, the initial listening experience is indicative of the earphones' high-end pedigree. The sound signature is evolving with each hour of use, and there's a palpable sense of anticipation for the acoustic excellence that will be fully realized post burn-in. If the initial impressions are anything to go by, the IE 900 is poised to set a new benchmark in the portable audio space and will be one the best audio gears in my presence considering I have experienced music from my AirPods Max, Sennheiser Momentum 4 and Focal Bathys. In BT TWS Devialet Gemini 2 is also an excellent collection of mine. In the whole process Pritam of Audio Store is guiding each day to convert me from beginners club to serious pro grade audiophile. PS. I paired up IE900 with my AK SR 35. I will post my detailed review once burn-in phase is over and paired up with 8 wires 4.4 mm balanced Effect Audio Cadmus wires.

Not so powerful than the senheiser 215 pro but much more clarity. Buy a longer third party cable because the two original cables inside the box are small.

The audio clarity of the IE 600 is unparalleled, amazing instrument separation, deep bass, clear mids, crisp highs. Housed with a single dynamic driver also means that the earbuds are very small too, they stay on my ear well and comfort is no issue even for long listening session.

After all the hype about these headphones that I saw in YouTube reviews, I decided to give them a try since I consider music as a fundamental part of my life and my state of mind. I've been using them for a few weeks and I can say that they are my favorites. They have the perfect tuning to my taste, the music just sounds alive, it gives emotion and pleasure to listen through them. It's true that the treble can be a bit loud, but it never gets to the point of tiring or sibilance, I find it gives the music life and air. They are comfortable to wear for long hours and immerse yourself in your favorite songs. Cons: the ear tips that comes with the package do not work, they are really bad. They make these earphones sound flat and lifeless. I replaced them with some type e eartips and the difference is overwhelming. It bothers me that such an expensive product makes me spend extra money to make them sound like they should. Another point against it, I would like the cable to have a microphone and thus expand the range of use. In conclusion, I totally recommend them. *To the Sennheiser team, they must create new ear tips that really work.

It completed my collection of IEMs, no more IEM for a while for sure. A case and cables need a bit more attention though
