Apparently there is a newer version of the DolphinBar hardware. Mine is the older one with only one switch at the back, while the newer one has 2 switches at the back. The newest firmware update from April 2017 only works with the newer DolphinBar. The older firmware update from August 2016 should work with the older DolphinBar. They are both under Downloads on the Mayflash website. **Q: Can this be plugged into a TV's USB port? My Wiimotes are already connected via bluetooth to my PC.** A: Yes, but for PC use don't do it. Short version: Your setup contains lag, but dolphinbar doesn't. The dolphinbar solves that problem. Furthermore re-syncing(which you'll have to do occasionally) is easier, too. Just push the button on the Wiimote and the bar, and it's taken care of automagically.
