I have 6 of these withe 1, 2 and 3 outlets They work great. Keep time for 1-2 years, then replace batteries. Really easy to program. Durable plastics under tropical sun! One draw back. Water can seep in at the batteries. Then the unit is ruined.

Absolutely 5 stars! I'm still using this same type of faucet timer that I've had for probably 10 years. I recently needed another one for the front yard as well as the back so I was so happy to see that this same faucet timer was still for sale on Amazon. It works perfectly. It's easy to figure out how to use, even without the instructions, which btw, are very well written in Englsh. I love the simplicity of it. Just turn the big knob and set the time, how long, how many days, etc....SO EASY!!! I used a little plumbers tape on the end where the hose attaches too, and some on my faucet and there are no water leaks whatsoever. I have them both running for 3 hours daily until my gardens are done for the season. I can't say enough good things about this faucet timer. Love it!!! Also, I received it the same day that I ordered it.

This is my 2nd purchase of this valve. The first one is still going after 5 years. A set of batteries lasts for the entire watering season. We move the batteries and store the valves for the winter. We also have an Orbit 6 station controller and needed a couple more stations. These single valves can be added anywhere there is a spigot. The main thing that I like is it's so easy to set up and change the program. These are well-made and will last if not abused.

Quit working after a month. Valve would not open. Of course it was past the 30 return period, so I guess I am likely out $34. I will try to get a replacement using the one year warranty through Orbi. If successful, I will likely increase my score accordingly. UPDATE: One call to Orbit and they sent me a replacement timer. Score increased from 1 to 4. Customer service is outstanding. Mauricio from Orbit who handled my call and warranty replacement is a credit to his company. I will continue to by orbit, but if the quality has indeed dropped off and I continue to have trouble, I will switch. I have orbit sprinkler system, valves, sprinkler heads and timers for hoses. I hope to stick with the Orbit name, and will if the quality is not slipping. Update 11/2/25: Orbit promptly replaced the defective unit. No questions asked.

Easy to install. Timer works well. Easy to read timer. Sturdy. Connects well.

We have now ordered about 10 of these. Not to replace malfunctioning units but to keep adding to our growing landscape needs. What Ken has found out is that if he removes these from faucets and takes batteries out to store during the winter, there’s no corrosion or malfunction that might occur during months of no use. It’s a little investment in time but it seems like they are brand new and ready to make watering much simpler. Easy to set up watering schedule! We’ve used these two years.

This is working GREAT. I'm realizing that this is how I need to garden. The initial set-up, and various projects for the garden are easy for me. There's a set goal, and I am pretty focused on that until it's done. But a small job that I have to be consistent with for months, with the busyness of kids mixed in? That's incredibly hard for me. And then all that initial investment of time and money, blood, sweat, and tears, ends up being wasted, or just having minimal results. This timer plus soaker hoses and a 4-way splitter all cost under $100 for me to cover almost all my garden. I'll add more next year. This I my 3rd year gardening, and I went bigger than ever, and everything is THRIVING. Including me. I get to enjoy the garden without the stress. I can go weed, etc for probably on average like 15 minutes a day, but skipping many days, and I can keep up with it all pretty effortlessly! I cannot recommend getting this enough.

Great Timer so far but after you set it you have to wait for it to star the next morning for all your settings to star working, this is no problem once you know this, I did several settings on mine and it started working the next morning. I set mine for every day, every 6 hours for 15 minutes. I set it to start at 7 am so it would water at 7 then at 1 pm then at 7 pm and finally at 1 am, I thought it would start at 1 pm they day I turned it on but it had to cycle till the next morning at 7am to start the sequence and every thing work as planed. I did have to straighten out one of the battery springs because it was not getting a good connection, works fine now, we will see how long it will last now.
