These are actually a great set of towels

These towels are bright and fluffy. They are a bit thinner than I had hoped but do wash up and dry quickly! Perfect for pool time with guests! And the price of $10 each was great!

Have to say I wasn't expecting much when I bought these but i am pretty impressed. They did have quite A LOT of lint when i washed them. my lint tray was overflowing with lint. They are huge and absorb quite a bit of water. I bought them because I had a leaky window in my apartment and they worked great for soaking up the water that was coming through. Now I use them as beach towels and they're great.

When I bought these towels, I had no idea the nightmare of a journey that I was about to embark on. I've had them for weeks, and yet, still not used them, so I can't speak on their absorbency. I just know if I could go back in time I'd never purchase them. I wanted to wash them before using them, as I imagine most do. And I followed the tag instructions on how. Yet, they came out covered in fuzz. I thought I could just wash them again, but they only looked worse when I did. Both times the lint trap was overflowing with fuzzy pink lint. I read articles on how to fix it. I tried vinegar in the wash, and I used 3 mega rolls worth of lint rollers. Taking hours of my time, washing and drying and rolling... Just to find that they were always still covered in fuzz. Little red balls all over the white stripes, and little white ones all over the red stripes. I probably should have returned them then, but I felt I was too deep in it to give up. I didn't want all my work to be for nothing. So I bought a fabric shaver. And somehow even using an electric tool to help, I can't escape the fuzz. I am currently writing this as I take a break from doing the first side of the first towel. It took me 20 minutes. And it's not perfect still, but good enough at this point. But I have FOUR towels, that have TWO SIDES each... so alas, I get the feeling that I'll truly never be done "prepping" these towels. From the description and reviews, I thought they seemed like nice cotton towels, that would go great in my kids' bathroom. But I was led astray. The truth is these towels are the worst towels I've ever owned. And I can confidently say that, having never even used them. Purchase at your own risk.

Excellent fabric, good price and soft Comfortable too good colors

I took a chance and bought the 4-pack of multi-colored towels even though I was concerned about some of the reviews that they fell apart when washed, or were thinner than expected. Although I did experience some of the problems other reviewers have listed, the customer service from Utopia Towels was so great that it earned them 5 stars from me! When I received my order, the towels did feel very thin when I took them out of the packaging. I followed the washing/drying instructions, and they definitely seemed to fluff up quite a bit after that! Unfortunately, as I had read in some of the other reviews, there was a TON of lint, to the point that there were big balls of lint stuck on the towels. In addition, the colored stripes on one of the towels was starting to unravel, and the stitching on the edges was coming unraveled on another towel. HOWEVER, as I was debating whether it was worth my time to mail the towels back for a refund, I received an email from Utopia Towels asking if I was satisfied with my order and requesting that if I had any complaints to let them know. So I replied to their email and described the issues I experienced. They quickly emailed me back to let me know that it sounded like I had received a defective product, and that they would ship me a new set of beach towels with no need for me to return the defective ones. The replacement set arrived in a timely manner, and again felt thin when I opened the packaging. I again washed and dried according to the instructions, but this time there was significantly less lint than the first set of towels had released. One of the towels in the second batch had some minor issues with the stitching on the edge coming unraveled, but it wasn't a big deal. Plus, I figured that between the two sets I received there are at least 4 perfectly good towels for me to use so I am more than satisfied with this purchase.
