Not grains but a great product
Followed the instructions and it worked really well. It resembles natural yoghurt. My wife much prefers it to the grains I used to to use. It lasts in the jar at least a week if refrigerated. I’m going to try and seed the next batch from this batch which I have done with yoghurt. Will certainly buy again…..if I need to!

I recommend ! I think the instructions need more details so I did a research and the second time I prepared it worked amazingly!. So just warm the milk as it says and once it gets to room temp. (If not they may burn and won’t work)Add it to a Masson jar and add the powder use a “wooden or plastic”spoon “cover”it with a dark cloth !!!and let it settle room temperature min 24 hrs . I drank half of the jar and left the other half until next morning stirred carefully a bit and had the rest . The taste is amazing . I read the more you leave it the stronger the taste . There are no grains with this procedure though it just becomes like a yougurt bit tangy , acid and creamy. I saw that mixing with fruit the sugars may give you an upset stomach and as I don’t know I just had it on its own in the morning . Good luck ! Ps: in the video is after 34hrs stir and drink

No fermentation at all
Quality is very poor. Several attempts to make kefir at home with different kinds of milk, following instructions to the letter produces absolutely no fermentation.

Good quality kefir, but these are powdered starter sachets not grains
I bought this expecting live kefir grains that could be grown and reused, but the sachets actually contain powdered starter cultures, not traditional grains. That wasn’t entirely clear to me from the listing so it’s worth knowing before you buy. That said, the kefir itself turned out really well. It fermented properly and tasted good.

Easy to usw
Came quickly, I used it a little differently to make a thicker yogurt and the results were delicious

Lost the grains in my first ferment.
This was my first attempt at kefir and I could not find the grains once my milk had fermented. I will have another go but as I am a beginner it is hard to judge when something does not work as expected

Great product, although a bit expensive IMO.
The product is great. That said however, I did not like the recipe that was listed on the original package (the final product was a bit sour to my taste), so I used Insta Pot's option that allows to keep a steady temperature of 43 Celsius for 8 hours.

Patience Pays Why This Kefir Starter Needs Extra Time to Shine
After a round of gastric distress, I decided it was time to build my gut biome as soon as possible. Along with fermented veggies, I wanted to use Kefir as part of the process. I had a choice between live grains that would not arrive within the time frame that I wanted and this product. I decided to give this thing a shot. After reading the description (these are single use sachet, you can’t make a new batch with this) I was good to go. I followed the directions, capped off a sterile mason jar, and put it in my microwave oven (DO NOT TURN ON THE MICROWAVE) that I use as a controlled temperature vessel. 24 hours later, I had Kefir, but it was thin and tasteless. This isn’t a terrible thing if you intend to flavor your Kefir. I ran another batch, but I let it sit for a couple of days instead of overnight, and noticed liquid gold in the form of whey beginning to form. A day later, my Kefir was good and sour, the way I like it. I will use one batch for cheese and future batches in smoothies. This is a good product IF you’ve read the description and don’t expect Kefir grain. This is a good product if you like to actively experiment with it and take your time to get it to your liking.
