If you deal with uneven ground, the extendable stabilizer is a perfect solution. It is quite heavy, but I doubt that much could be done to reduce the weight while retaining the amazing versatility. I am very pleased with my purchase. Gone are the days of trembling on a shaky kadder and praying to survive the experience. Particularly if you are afraid of heights and concerned about safety, the expense is justified.
