Keeps clean but hinders typing
Good: The dirt and oils from my hands stays on the cover instead of the laptop. Easy to wash off with dish soap. Bad: Mostly blocks the keyboard backlight if you need it late at night with the lights down. Typing speed is reduced versus without the cover installed.

really nice for learning hotkeys and general system functions
as a linux and windows user, my work issued me a macbook pro for development and i have no idea what the hot keys are or where i am going half the time. this is a perfect cheat sheet. highly suggested. it def blocks light and sucks to type on but thats the price you pay for learning. this isnt meant to be a long term rubber mat for your keyboard, its meant for you to learn system hotkeys and then get rid of it. highly suggested as a learning aid, not at all suggested as system protection or a cover for spills.

Awesome for newbie MacBook owners
I have never owned a MacBook until now. I’m not used to all the shortcuts on it, as opposed to all the HPs that I’ve had. This keyboard cover is super helpful in teaching me all the nuances of the Mac and it’s very easy to clean.

Fits my MacBook Pro 14" but slides off too easily
and has to be repositioned multiple times throughout the day. Moreover, I purchased mine around 9 months ago and the coloring on the underside of the skin has worn off on multiple keys and made the keyboard stained and sticky — a bit counter-productive, when the sole purpose for my purchase was to protect it.

Mac Newbie’s Delight
Got this because I felt I was always having to explain myself to my non-Mac counterparts. Now I use the quick commands on a daily basis so show off how cool macs can be AND this protects my keyboard from the occasional stray crumb. Occasionally I have to re-jostle it down but it’s worth it.
