In does a good job at that, turning on/off in line with the humidity level. However, the high fan speeds/laundry setting was not enough to keep the condensation off my windows. I found Ecoair with its high level (top mounted fan), with swing facility works great. The difference here is the Ecoair doesn't seem to switch off, so I use it on a 2/4 hour timer or as needed. The Meaco however, will economise and keep testing the air every 30mis or so, but I didnt manage to try the Meaco against the laundry, but i think it should be ok. to work at lower temperatures you would need the desiccant dehumidifier (again Ecoair), but I didn't like the smell!!).
