STIHL 5605 007 1027 Complete Saw Chain Filing Kit For 1/4-Inch and 3/8-Inch, 5/32-Inch

In my opinion, this makes sharpening them smaller Stihl chainsaw chains easier to sharpen than other methods I've used. I highly recommend it.

I was a little concerned how long this product was going to take to get to me based on the estimated delivery date (5 to 30 days for delivery). I placed the order on Friday and I got it the following Wednesday - awesome, considering that the vendor is in England. Already sharpened my chain, work great and I like the cloth carrying case.

I was intimidated by the idea of sharpening my chain saw. This tool and it's instructions are easy to use and to understand! It takes me about 5 minutes to sharpen my chainsaw and is really easy to do with this set.

Never sharpened a chainsaw before. Thought it had to be specially done by a professional. Splurged and bought this for a new Stihl chainsaw my brother bought. After a few hours, I noticed the saw was dulling so I tried this kit. What really helps for us visual learners is the youtube video (google: youtube stihl chainsaw sharpening) showing you how...took me 15 minutes. Saw cuts like new again. Makes you realize your chain and saw will last longer if you do a quick sharpen. Helpful hint they give you: Use the same number of file strokes on each chain link...works like a charm FIles are very high quality.

This worked perfectly. I used it all summer while clearing a backyard. Every gas refill I sharpened the chainsaw and it cut like new again. Simple to use and did it's job.

I am a sucker for Milwaukee Fuel tools. The 16 inch chainsaw is a beast in the 40cc gas engine class. It has a small chain though that I didn't have a 5/32 file for. I had seen these Stihl kits on differemt YouTube videos before and decided to give it a try. The guide is not the gimmick I suspected it to be. Neither is the depth guide filing guide. Both really work to get your chain consistently sharp. I also like the case to keep everything in one place so I know where it is when I need it. There is no telling how many round files, and handles, I've bought and couldn't find them to sharpen a chain. I will be buying kits for every size chain on all of my other saws.

If you have every tried to sharpen your blade using the manual method and learning how to hold the file in the exact right orientation every time, you will know that it is not easy and a little hit and miss. This product makes your blade sharpening life easy! Don't hesitate...buy it and you will thank me later!

Travaux de bûcheronnage non pro. Abattage, ébranchage et débitage principalement de chêne. Tronçonneuse Husqvarna de 40cm et tronçonneuse électrique de 35cm. Kit très pratique et surtout qui fait le boulot proprement en permettant de garder le bon angle sans effort. La différence entre avant et après affûtage est plus que nette. À demeure ma ceinture porte-outils !

Bought this on 19 December, 2023 for ₹530. First, thanks to STIHL for making this set available at a reasonable cost. Strangely, other brands are all over 1.5k, some of them much higher. They are most probably imported. My 18 inch chainsaw was not cutting properly even after sharpening the teeth. Only after seeing a video on sharpening did I learn of the need to also lower the depth gauge on the chain by filing it. I had been only sharpening the Side Plate Cutting Edge on the chain so it was not making good contact with the wood. I sharpened my Chainsaw on the kitchen counter which took around 10 minutes and went to work on a coconut tree. Cut like butter. It comes with a textless instruction pamphlet, but do watch a video on chainsaw sharpening just so that you understand why you are doing what you are doing. It will make you a better sharpener. Although, after using it only once, I cannot guarantee durability in long term use, for now this seems like a very good product.
