## Description

Description: This 5V 4 Relay Shield Module is a small current signal control power equipment commonly used electronic module, enabling high-power single-chip control devices are widely used in SCM system to make smart home project; and can be directly plugged into the compatible the use of various types of motherboards, eliminating the patch cable troubles. Features: 1. Standard For Shield interfaces and shape 2. Can continue to stack other For expansion boards 3. 3 M3 screw positioning holes for easy installation 4. High Drive (5V or 3.3V) normally open contact closure 5. Onboard relay indicator (red) Note: When using the For UNO board connected to it, because UNO USB interface is extremely high, should avoid green terminals are shorted its shell. Relay Shield Interfaces: Relay: 5V DC relay, HJR-4102-L-5V, the Relay1 is be behalf of the 1st relay, the same for others. Power Interface: 5V DC Power Indicator: four lights are red when the relay is driven high , the corresponding indicator will light up. Relay Terminals: Terminal high-power , high-current high voltage can be connected to the device . The 1st foot ( i.e. NOx) is a normally open pin , NCx pin is normally closed , COMx is common, i.e., when the relay is not driven , NOx and COMx open between two pins , NCx and COMx connection ; When the relay (x) control signal pin is high drive relays , NOx and COMx connection open between NCx and COMx. Package Included: 1 * 5V 4 Channel Relay Shield (Without Arduino boards)

Review: works fine with my Uno R4 WiFi - The pins are pretty thin ... bend easily ... But that makes it easier to plug into the Uno R4 WiFi board uses data pins. 4,5,6 and 6 You can stack two of these (cut off some of the longer pins in center of board). Then cut pins 4,5,6,7 and add jumpers from other gpio output pins
Review: Potential Short Circuit. - Be aware of a potential short circuit. The thru-hole pins that solder the components on the top of the board are not trimmed flush with the bottom of the board. As a result, the connector block for relay #1 will definitely short itself to the USB-B connector on the Arduino Uno board below. In fact, those protruding pins may actually prevent the relay shield above from fully engaging the Arduino below. In any case you will need to trim those three pins before using this relay board. A small side cutter tool that trims flush with the surface would be very handy. I didn't have one of those, so I clipped off the excess length as best I could using ordinary wire cutters and finished the trim by filing down the pins with a jeweler's file. That took quite a while because those pins are plated steel, not soft copper. When I finished the trimming process I still didn't trust that a short circuit can never occur. I cut a small rectangle from a business card and taped it to the top surface of the USB-B connector on the Arduino Uno. Then I confirmed there was no short using a multimeter.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Potential Short Circuit.
*by T***K on January 27, 2026*

Be aware of a potential short circuit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked excellent
*by A***. on March 24, 2020*

Received this, a couple of pins were bent, but nothing that a quick straightening didn't fix. As other reviews have said, there are 3 pins that stick down and will touch the shield of the USB connector on an Arduino. Place some electrical tape on it. This is not a worry for me as I am using this for prototyping and testing and not the permanent installation.
